The President who wasn’t really there

This article in the December issue of New Times by Viktor Shenderovich aptly describes the role played by President Dmitry Medvedev in Russia’s history as the stool pigeon, who was put there to keep the chair warm for the next presidential term of Prime Minister Vladimir Putin.
