RusPetro lists in London

On 18 January 2012 oil producer RusPetro, which is 29 per cent owned by management, including former Federal Grid Company managers Andrei Rapport and Alexander Chistyakov, and 48 per cent controlled by Limolines, which is 50 per cent owned by EuroSibEnergo chairman Andrei Likhachev and 50 per cent by investment fund Altera Capital,  successfully listed in London, raising USD 250 million for a 35 per cent interest.

The producer defied market sentiment and proceeded with the listing, after doing considerable groundwork with investors in December and early January.

Altera is run by former Deputy Minister for the Economy Kirill Androsov, who subsequently worked for Prime Minister Vladimir Putin from 2008-2010.
