Aeroflot taking over Sheremetyevo-2

According to Russian media reports, in October 2012 Aeroflot has signed a strategic cooperation agreement with Sheremetyevo International Airport, which will enable the airline to use all the existing terminals at the airport for flights by Aeroflot, Aeroflot subsidiaries and its partners from the SkyTeam Alliance (including Alitalia, Delta, KLM and Air France) from 2014.

Perhaps good news for Aeroflot and its partners, but this will create potential issues for the other 20 plus airlines currently using Sheremetyevo-2 such as Transaero, which will need to seek other airports in Moscow (Sheremetyevo-1, Transaero, Vnukovo  and Domodedovo).
