Privatisation plan in doubt

According to Kommersant (11 January 2012), the government may well delay the planned privatisation of shares in RusHydro, the Federal Grid Company, Transneft, Zarubezhneft and Rosneft for a number of reasons, including the low capitalisation of the companies at present. Furthermore investor interest in oil and gas producers is hampered by the lack of clarity over taxation of the sector at present.
